TV and Film Mistakes Spotted on Social Media

Image
Caught red handed! While TV shows and movies have teams dedicated to making sure nothing goes wrong on the production side, things slip through the cracks from time to time. That’s where fans come in. Over the years, viewers have pointed out the entertainment industry’s mishaps including the famous Starbucks cup of 2019 that popped up in a Game of Thrones scene. “News from Winterfell. The latte that appeared in the episode was a mistake,” the  Game of Thrones  team tweeted in May of that year. “#Daenerys [AKA Emilia Clarke ] had ordered an herbal tea.” Starbucks also joined in on the fun, tweeting , “TBH we’re surprised she didn’t order a Dragon Drink.” While Twitter users have been quick to find mistakes in their favorite shows and film franchises, TikTok users have been faster. With tabs dedicated to spotting fashion blunders and continuity issues, TikTok has become the go-to place to reveal errors what many have missed. I’m f–king crying,” one social media user tweeted alongside a screenshot of the footage taken of Eleven ( Millie Bobby Brown ) at the skating ring in episode 2. The date on the tape reads March 22, which Joyce ( Winona Ryder ) previously confirmed as Will’s birthday during season 2. Part of … our world? Over the last few years, Disney has been working nonstop to bring their classic animated movies back to the screen via live-action adaptions. This is extremely exciting for Disney fanatics — as well as fans of certain celebs who have been lucky enough to take on the iconic characters. Then a relatively unknown star, Lily James took on the role of Cinderella in Disney’s live-action 2015 adaptation of the 1950 film. Dressed in the princess’ signature blue gown and blonde curls, the Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again star danced the night away with Game of Thrones ‘  Richard Madden , who was cast as her Prince Charming. Believe it or not, not everyone who competes on The Bachelor ditches their regular ol’ life to sell SugarBearHair gummies. Some contestants — gasp! — actually end up going back to their real jobs. Since appearing on TV, fan favorites from The Bachelor , The Bachelorette , Bachelor in Paradise , The Bachelor Winter Games and even Bachelor Pad (RIP) have passed on opportunities to become social media influencers in lieu of returning to what they know best. Chris Soules made his way back to his farm in Iowa, and Jillian Harris became an interior mogul in her own right. Tanner Tolbert , meanwhile, makes a killing selling cars, while Jake Pavelka flies high in the sky. Many franchise alums who have resumed their careers work in the medical field. For example, Bryan Abasolo is a chiropractor, Whitney Bischoff is a fertility nurse and Ashley Hebert is a pediatric dentist. At the time, the episode served as a backdoor pilot that hinted at a future Tom Swift series on The CW. At the time, Richards opened up about making the well-known literary character more suited for current times. “The original Tom Swift was great for his time and what he represented,” the actor told TVLine in May 2021. “At the time, that was the face of young boys, All-American kids full of possibilities. But in 2021, that can look so different. It can look like someone like me — a Black guy who is chocolate, who is queer, who is all those things that we’re told aren’t the normal or the status quo.” The Dumplin’ star noted that reinventing Tom Swift allowed for more viewers to see themselves represen
