See What Olympian Adam Rippon Looked Like in 2008

Unrecognizable! Before America fell in love with Olympian Adam Rippon during the 2018 Winter Olympics, he rocked a Justin Timberlake -inspired curly hairstyle — and we’ve got the pictures to prove it. The 28-year-old Pennsylvania-native, who won a bronze medal in the team skating event for Team USA in Pyeongchang, South Korea, and made history as the first openly gay man to compete for the United States, was just making his mark on the skating world in 2008. According to NBCOlympics.com , Rippon won the 2008 and 2009 World Junior Championship gold medals and hoped to land on the 2010 Olympic team. However, he finished fifth at Nationals in 2010 and didn’t make the cut. Instead, he went to the Four Continents Championships and came away with the gold medal in 2010. Now that he’s an Olympian who medaled, take a look back at Rippon before he was a household name. Scroll to see the pics!

‘Sex and the City’ Drama Through the Years: A Timeline

Just as Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte had their adventures, the cast of Sex and the City have been on what seems like a roller coaster since the show began in 1999. After running for six seasons, the HBO series wrapped in 2004. The costars went on to reprise their roles four years later: Sarah Jessica Parker ,  Kim Cattrall ,  Kristin Davis  and   Cynthia Nixon starred in two Sex and the City films, one in 2008 and a second in 2010. However, the drama has never stayed on the screen. Us Weekly has put together a timeline of all of the cast’s ups and downs over the years.

Image
Natalie Portman returned to host Saturday Night Live for the first time since 2006, with the always outstanding Dua Lipa as musical guest, and the actress used the opportunity to do what she does best: rap. Here are the highlights. Natalie Raps 2.0 Portman couldn’t return to SNL without doing a follow-up to her iconic 2006 rap video, Natalie Raps. The biggest takeaway? Don’t talk crap about the Star Wars prequels. Also, one-time  SNL  digital short master Andy Samberg — who appeared in Portman’s original video — stopped by for a cameo. His face and humor are always welcome on our TV screens.   Super Bowl 1775 Former SNL cast members Tina Fey and Rachel Dratch crashed a Super Bowl-inspired sketch that saw Philadelphians and New Englanders trading barbs in 1775.
